Wellness Associate (Flagler County)
Under the direction of the facility manager, the Wellness Associate will perform specific duties listed below, to the level agreed upon with his/her supervisor. The wellness associate will be instrumental in helping members maintain existing health behavior habits and increase feelings of exercise-related competence. The wellness coach will primarily serve members by facilitating FRESH START appointments, ensuring safety of wellness floor, and other duties as assigned. The main job responsibility of this position is to create, build and enhance relationships throughout the Volusia Flagler Family YMCA, as well as to keep the mission, values and goals of the YMCA.
Prerequisites: Graduate or undergraduate in sports medicine, physical therapy or related subject. Must have a minimum of two years working experience and personal training certified.
Position Details: Part-time, non-exempt position
Hours: Part-time (Must be able to work evenings and weekends.)
