Stick To It and Get Rewarded
We know that starting a healthier lifestyle isn’t always easy. That’s why we’re here to help you make it a habit. New members that join the Y May 21 - June 4 and check in at the Y at least 12 times each month in their first three months will be rewarded for their healthy lifestyle change by receiving their fourth month for free. Splash Week
Did you know that two-thirds of all drowning incidents occur between May and August. That’s why we’re providing Splash Week, sponsored by Brown & Brown Insurance, to keep families safe in and around water. Activities include improving swimming skills, water safety, family-fun games and more! Join us at the Y during June 4 – 7 and August 13 - 16 and make a splash at this free event.
Summer Swim League
Team sports at the Y build character and self-esteem. Participants of our youth swim league, for ages 5 - 15, will work on stroke mechanics, proper starting technique, turns and finishes. Kids will not only learn the fundamentals and how to work together on a team, but also build self-confidence, endurance and strength for a brighter future.Season runs June 11 – August 9 and registration is available at Member Services now through June 8.
Athens Theatre
Join your friends at the Y at the Athens Theatre for A Tribute to the Ed Sullivan Show, and get a blast from the past with performances from "Elvis Presley," "Buddy Holly," and "Mick Jagger." Shows are May 18 - 19 and tickets are now on sale online for $20. Proceeds will benefit the DeLand Family YMCA.
Bootcamp
We’re committed to providing our community with opportunities to get and stay healthy. In our Bootcamp program, participants will encounter survival-style obstacles that will test strength and build a healthy spirit, mind and body. Classes are Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30pm-6:30pm. Cost is $30/month for members and $40/month for program participants.
Y Compete
In our Y-Compete program, participants of all ages will be coached in volleyball, soccer and basketball. Whether you want to learn a new sport or stay competitive in all three, this program will keep you active while having fun and meeting new friends. We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30-6:30pm. Cost is $45/month/sport for members and $75/month/sport for program participants. To register or learn more, stop by Member Services.
Cardio and Strength Circuit
Participants in our cardio and strength circuit program will not only learn how to increase their strength and overall fitness but also the benefits and confidence that comes with taking care of their health and well-being. Classes are available Wednesdays and Fridays, 6:30-7:30pm. Cost is $30/month for members and $40/month for program participants. To register or learn more, visit Member Services.
Movement Class for those with Parkinson's Disease
In Dance for PD® classes, professionally trained experts help participants explore stretching, strengthen muscles, balance and rhythm through energizing music. No dance experience required. Thanks to generous support from the Parkinson’s Association of Greater Daytona Beach, this class is offered free of charge. Classes are available on Wednesdays at 12:30pm.

Our youth swim lessons helps kids feel more confident and safe in and around the water. Check out our interactive flow chart to see your child's swim level. Cost is $45 for members: $45 and $65 for program participants. Registration for swim lessons is now available at Member Services.
